Founded by artist Josiah Jones, WALLWORKS Studio grew from years of detailed hand-drawn artwork, creative consulting, and a simple question that kept surfacing:
"Can you put this on my wall?"
What began as custom drawings evolved into a larger vision of taking his hand-crafted ideas beyond the sketchbook and transforming them into physical spaces at scale. Not just visually, but emotionally. A wall can change the energy of a room, define the identity of a business, or become the detail people remember long after they leave.
Today, WALLWORKS collaborates with artists and illustrators across multiple disciplines to create immersive wall experiences tailored to the personality of each space. How does direct-to-wall printing work?
WALLWORKS Studio uses wall printing technology to print artwork directly onto flat vertical surfaces with incredible detail and precision. Unlike vinyl decals or traditional murals, the artwork is applied seamlessly onto the wall itself, creating a clean, integrated finish designed specifically for the space.
How much does a project cost?
Residential projects begin at $1,500+ and commercial projects begin at $2,500+. Final pricing depends on wall size, artistic complexity, surface type, wall preparation, accessibility, and overall project scope.
How long does the process take?
Most projects move through consultation, concept development, design, and installation over the course of 1–3 weeks depending on complexity and scheduling. Most installations themselves are completed within hours with minimal disruption to the space.
Do I need to provide the artwork?
Not at all. Many clients come to us with only an idea, mood, or inspiration. Part of our special sauce is our creative direction and the hand-drawn art we tailor for your space.
Is there a minimum project size?
Yes. Residential projects have a 50 sq ft minimum and commercial projects have an 80 sq ft minimum. This allows us to maintain the level of creative direction, setup, and installation quality each project requires.
Can the artwork be removed or changed later?
Yes. While the artwork is printed directly onto the wall, it can typically be painted over or renovated in the future similarly to a painted surface. We can also help design updated artwork for evolving spaces down the line.
